Crayons, Caffeine, and Gasoline.

One of my favorite memories from my childhood was going to my Grandmother's large, vintage buffet and opening the door to my very own collection of coloring books, crayons, and coloring pencils. I can still smell the mixture of aged wood, paper, and Crayola® crayons.

Now that I'm grown, these are memories that I’m building with my daughter, spending our lazy Saturday mornings coloring or drawing while eating massive bowls of cereal.

"What does this have to do with cars though?"

I'm getting there, I promise.

As a grown-up, coloring is different, you don't want to color in a children's coloring book, but the coloring books for adults can be tedious and boring. I have searched high and low (I've searched Amazon, and if they don't have it, no one will) but haven't been able to find any adult coloring books that tick all the boxes.

  • Automotive related.

  • Detailed, but not overly so.

  • Spiral-bound so that the pages are easy to take out and frame.

  • Good quality paper.

Then, the art gods smiled upon me and I found out about this: The Rally: Coloring Book for Car Enthusiasts.
